Peace
His peace, we have always!

PEACE
In the gospel of John, Chapter 14, verse 1, Jesus instructs His disciples to "let not your hearts be troubled." Then in v. 27 of the same chapter, He tells us how this is to be accomplished:
"Peace I leave with you, My peace, I give to you."
This was not just a feeling that affects our emotions; it was an ever-abiding presence with us always.
The Lord was preparing to depart, but He wanted them to know there was no need for concern, for He was leaving them with His peace. His peace can withstand the storms of life and the challenges we all face from day to day. Therefore, peace isn't something we pray for or hope to find, but it is the realization that He left us with His abiding peace that we would never be without comfort.
The Apostle Paul lets us know in the book of Philippians Chapter 4:6-10 that if we will only restrict our thoughts to good things, lively things, things that have virtue, and are of a good report, that the peace of God will keep our minds and that the peace of God will be with us. It is not something we have to obtain; it is something we already have, because He left it with us.
Isn't it a comfort to know that we are never alone and with His peace!
