Porthole of Prophecy

Psalms 95:8,9

Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

This psalm gives us a unique insight into the process of prophecy; notice how the psalmist sings praise in the first seven verses, but in verse eight, the cadence ends, and the voice of God takes over, warning against doubt!

God operates in the realm of faith, and no amount of worship will overcome the lack thereof…
