Words to Heal

Proverbs 12:18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.

The Proverbs of Solomon are a collection of the king's intelectual perception within the servants of his kingdom. When referring to the spoken word, all perception falls into one of two categories, destructive words or creation words.

It is all to clear that God intended for man to use words in the realm of creation;

James 3:9-10

1. Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
2. Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.

Let us be mindful of the power of WORDS to heal, and speak toward peace rather than war.
