Realm of Mercy

Psalms 80:1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.

Psalms 80:2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.

Hear this plea which appeals to the intrinsic nature of God, to meet the need of his flock Israel. A people in a desperate situation, a people in need of still waters to bring peace to their troubled lives.

Their pleas zero in on the untouchable realm of his place between the cherubims, above the mercy seat, the exact place where God told Moses “I will meet you there”

Know this, God will never forsake you, nor leave you. Trust in God through the good and the bad.



Look for Him where He may be found, within the realm of mercy.
