In each thrashing of Judah for their disobedience, Nebuchadnezzar left a remnant of God’s glory intact, as if to show honor to where they came from. But the actions of the rulers of Judah were so intentional that the king of Babylon was left with no other choice than to remove all evidence of this rebellious people.
